Agility 11/3
So last night we worked again on the channel weaves. Mishka is really picking up the weave poles quickly. Will probably require another month’s worth of training before I can rely upon her to be consistent, but she was weaving regular poles last night (albeit slowly).
I got her TDAA number today (registration number) as well as confirmation for the trial she is entered into in December. Hoping I can get a proper video camera before then and maybe you guys will see some decent video. I make no promises.
That being said, we have started to work with Nova. She was getting on the teeter board, running through the frame of jumps and up a low ramp. We also had her running through a tunnel. Doing very basic things since her growth plates are still open, we have to be cautious.
Also, somewhat separate from this - Conformation.
Mid-month there will be a conformation show in Norman, OK. We will be showing Nova in the puppy class. It is non-licensed which means she cannot win anything, but it gives her experience. She will be competing with other puppies in the show, so wish us luck!
